Mumbai: A video of a 28-year-old man being mercilessly assaulted aboard a neighborhood practice, allegedly after being caught red-handed whereas molesting a girl, went viral on social media on Monday. The accused, who was later handed over to the police by the irate mob, has been arrested by the Thane Authorities Railway Police (GRP).
In response to the Thane GRP, the accused has been recognized as Aftab Ansari, a resident of the Patra Chawl in Byculla. The police mentioned that he was intoxicated when he boarded the final compartment of a Thane-bound native practice from Dadar. The sufferer, too, was in the identical compartment and he or she felt him touching her inappropriately, making the most of the gang.
