Morrison off to Tokyo as parliament opens


Former prime minister Scott Morrison will miss the opening of the brand new parliament as he heads to Tokyo for conferences with political and enterprise leaders.

Former prime minister Scott Morrison will miss the primary week of parliament as he jets off to Japan. 

In an announcement launched on Monday afternoon, Mr Morrison confirmed he’ll go to Tokyo similtaneously the opening of the forty seventh parliament in Canberra.
