A child died after being mauled by a stray canine at an residence constructing in Noida close to Delhi on Monday. Many offended residents protested after the demise, accusing civic our bodies of failing to behave on complaints of stray canine.

The seven-month-old boy was hospitalised with extreme accidents after he was attacked by canine, Dharam Vir Yadav, a resident, instructed PTI.

“Sadly, we misplaced the kid late final night time,” Mr Yadav mentioned.

The incident happened on the Lotus Boulevard flats in Sector 100, Noida, round 4.30 pm yesterday, police officer Rajneesh Verma mentioned.

“The dad and mom of the kid are building employees. Each had been working contained in the society and had stored their baby close to them. Nevertheless, a stray canine had entered the society and it bit the kid, leaving him severely injured,” Mr Verma instructed PTI.

The police mentioned businesses had been requested to catch stray canine. In line with stories, when the dog-catchers arrived, some residents drove them out.

Protesting residents on the advanced mentioned the civic physique had did not sterilize and vaccinate stray canine.
