Six individuals died in Uttarakhand’s Phata village on Tuesday after a helicopter carrying pilgrims to Kedarnath crashed, ANI reported.
Officers have left for the spot for aid and rescue operations.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia stated that the crash was extraordinarily unlucky. He added that the Centre is continually in contact with the state authorities to establish the magnitude of the loss, and is continually monitoring the state of affairs.
