The Nation’s justice correspondent Elie Mystal stated Thursday on MSNBC’s “All In” that President Joe Biden’s speech discussing a distinction between MAGA Republicans and different Republicans was incorrect as a result of moderates are simply “white supremacists who will vote with white supremacists” and “don’t assume they’re white supremacists.”
Former assistant U.S. legal professional Maya Wiley stated, “He did two issues in his speech, and one was to say I’m not speaking about all Republicans. I’m speaking about MAGA Republicans. Making that distinction, what he was saying is those that oppose rights in, those that oppose the rule of regulation, those that imagine within the massive lie that there’s election fraud and subsequently need to win once they misplaced and violently take over the nation is definitely what we’re preventing in opposition to. I believe that could be a recognition that there’s a majority of the nation that understands that’s incorrect and dangerous.”
Mystal stated, “I don’t know who ‘It’s not all Republicans, simply MAGA Republicans’ is for. I’m positive there are some white supremacists who will vote with white supremacists who don’t assume they’re white supremacists and are completely happy Biden didn’t name them a white supremacists. However like, it’s not for me.”
