The gasolinera in La Herradura was cordoned off yesterday afternoon when a suspcious object was discovered on the premises round 15.45h.

Each the Policía Native and the Guardia Civil arrived to shut the gasolinera while the article was examined.

A moped/scooter rider pulled into the forecourt to fill his bike up. After he had paid he left instantly and left a suspcious package deal behind. The package deal contained bottles with wires hooked up and a “unusual lump of one thing.”

The Guardia Civil bomb disposal consultants (TEDAX) arrived to establish whether or not it was some type of explosive gadget. It seems that it was a hoax bomb; one thing made to seem like one.

The Mayor, Ruiz Joya, defined yesterday night, “the package deal was a pretend bomb and that visitors is being restored on the N-340.”

Within the meantime the Guardia Civil closed the mainroad to visitors in addition to trying to trace down the moped rider – as after inspecting CCTV footage the automobile was recognized.
