Almuñécar, opposition Councillor, Díaz Rodríguez (CA) roundly criticised the governing celebration over the whole lack of progress on the Plaza de Abderramán.
Councillor Díaz considers that this stalled development work on the mentioned sq. slightly below the Peñon de Santo (rock with a cross on it) is inflicting an “monumental peturbation” amongst guests and enterprise in that space, particularly the inns, claiming, “it has triggered irreperable injury on the top of the vacationer season.”
It was 5 months in the past that the then Mayor, Trinidad Herrera, introduced the work on the mentioned sq. could be carried out in two phases in order to not trigger issues for enterprise, [such as Hotel Casablanca], for instance, and that the entire thing could be completed by the thirtieth of June.
