When Prime Minister Anthony Albanese formally introduced a royal fee into the previous authorities’s robodebt debt restoration program, there have been blended reactions from some who had been subjected to the illegal scheme.

Phoebe is a trans girl from Western Australia and says she’s glad the federal government is prepared to analyze the scheme and the earlier authorities’s involvement. However she’s sceptical of what’s going to come out of it. 

“I’ve already been burnt by a category motion that did not search justice for us” she tells Crikey in a message. “It may simply be an train in placing the matter to mattress with out truly reforming issues.”
